Summary
This program allows you to mount save data as READ/WRITE

You can
  • Make decrypted copies of your saves
  • Replace saves with modified ones
  • Replace save files with someonelse's save files (share saves)
Prerequisites
  • PS4 5.05
  • FTP Client

ChangeLog
  • Fixed bug to make R/W Work

Instructions
  1. Load ps4debug
  2. Start a game
  3. Load FTP
  4. Open the tool
  5. Enter the ip of your ps4 and press click 'Connect'
  6. Click 'Refresh Processes' and select your game in the combobox
  7. Click 'Setup'
  8. Click 'Find Dirs'
  9. Select the save you want to mount in the combobox
  10. Select the mount permission in the combobox (default is READ ONLY)
  11. Click 'Mount'
  12. Your save is now mounted in /mnt/pfs/ & in /mnt/sandbox/{title}/savedataX
  13. After you're done copying/replacing files click 'Unmount'
Some games use another save format, they have an sce_ prefix in their name. they won't show up as search results
This can probably be patched but I was too lazy Here's a workaround

  1. go to /user/home/{userid}/savedata/{titleid}
  2. make a copy of the sce save: 2 files, the bin file(96KB), the sdimg file
  3. rename them
    "sce_sdmemory.bin" -> "temp.bin"
    "sdimg_sce_sdmemory" -> "sdimg_temp"
  4. go to /system_data/savedata/{userid}/db/user and download the database.db file
  5. open it with an sqlite editor
  6. add a new record in the savedata table
  7. fill in the data and you're done
  8. replace the original database with the newer one
  9. Click 'find dirs' again, it should now add a temp entry in the combobox
  10. proceed as usual
  11. go to /user/home/{userid}/savedata/{titleid}
    • delete the original sce_sdmemory.bin and sdimg_sce_sdmemory
    • rename temp.bin to sce_sdmemory.bin and temp to sdimg_sce_sdmemory
  12. replace the modified database with the original one
  13. you're done

Instructions

I tried mod a ps2 save but in filezilla it give me critical error when i try send the modded save back to ps4 . I think is releated to a read only premission , what can i do here ?

Great tool!

Would this allow to modify saves actually? Like on computer games there are some applications for some games where saves can be modified to increase ingame money and such things.

There are also save creators for this game (i.e. NFS MW creates save with a car of choice and all parts and money).

this sounds great, but steps 1 and 3 seem a bit complicated as they use other software to make the set up process and I'm not very confident with that and wouldn't want to break something so I'd appreciate if someone made a video of how to use this. I know all of this is probably very easy, especially for some people, but I really don't want to run the risk of messing something up so if anyone would be up for creating a video I'd appreciate it and it would allow this tool to have a wider reach as more people would be able to find out about it.

Is it too much to ask for user friendly instructions instead of links to Github .bin files and source code? Can someone simplify this? Has anyone re-signed a save file with this?

I Cant get this to work sadly. FTP is working perfect with filezilla but after i hit refresh i get a error message with Netframework (Have the latest one installed)

This works perfectly, except for 1 game so far Diablo 3 reaper of souls. I have tried the bypass and all but it refuses to find the directory of the save game. I would really enjoy help for this game cause I want to use pc save editors to modify weapons and such.

Send the payload first.

I can confirm this is working. I used TBOIA+ save game from the net and trophys unlocked but no progression at all

Can't succeed with HZD and Locoroco with this workarround. There is a .dat when I open the dir in the combobox and GoW doesn't show up the save game

@PS4.50 i managed to get this halfway to work. Dont get any errors anymore.

I tried it now with Kingdom Hearts. The Save from the PS4 is a DAT file and the Save from the Internet is BIN. If i try to load the save it doesnt recognize it.. Anyone know what to do at this point ?
