So, this release should have come a while ago. It doesn't include the latest 5.05 patch but multiple people have asked for this app and I figured we waited long enough. It should be simple enough to apply the 5.05 patch afterwords anyway if you want it. If nothing else, those still on 4.55 should be able to use this app perfectly fine. Works on 5.05 too.

As a bonus, it has been patched for no ads. I don't think (premium videos?) will work if that is a thing. Haven't looked into that too much.

A couple of things to note:

Signing into a Crunchyroll account seems to work but, just like the vita release, it will undo the no ads patch. I imagine it should be fine to login with a premium account if you have one.

Most likely but who knows... you have to try and see if it supports the language set in your PS4.

The content on Crunchyroll like the Animes will be English mostly I guess and maybe a few other languages like German (subtitles).
