Nintendo is kicking off Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament for North America online on May 30, 2020 and will grant four emerging winners games and DLCs as rewards.

The event will launch every week until June 21, 2020.

Not necessarily the grandest in terms of prize, but might be well worth the engagement.

Introduction

A Fold Apart is a puzzle game with nice colorful graphics and a story about "making it work".



In A Fold Apart you fold the very fabric of existence to solve puzzles while the story progresses in between the puzzle sections.



The story begins with our 2 protagonists, which recently became romantically involved.

After having spent an undefined amount of time together our blue protagonist gets a job offer in the city and so him/her moves out while leaving our orange protagonist behind...



They, of course, stay in contact and this is where the "hardships of long-distance relationships" theme comes into the picture.

Nintendo confirms that around 160,000 Nintendo Accounts were illegally accessed

Hackers were able to see the nickname, email address, country, and birth date associated with the account, as well as make purchases with credit cards and PayPal accounts.

In order to address the issue, Nintendo has disabled the ability to access Nintendo Accounts using Nintendo Network IDs, and has reset the passwords of every Nintendo Account that might have been affected by the breach.

Super Mario Maker 2 is getting a new update, it will be called the World Maker Update



You can now make your own maps! This new update also adds new and returning powerups to the game.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is also getting a new update, it will be called the Nature and Art Update



Hatsune Miku Project Diva: Mega Mix releases May 15th in the US and Europe

The game contains a total of 101 songs.

A new firmware update for the PS4 just rolled out, this new update brings stability and better performance to the system, the update is just 450MB and aside from the usual "stability and performance" upgrades it doesn't seem to do a whole lot.

You can download the update via system settings, you will need to update if you wanna access the PSN store or if you wish to play online with your friends.

These are just my first impressions from having played the closed beta of the game in handheld mode.

I am not going to sugar coat it, this is NOT good.

When I first saw the trailer for Vigor on the Nintendo Direct I thought it would be a singleplayer survival game.



Yeah, that's not what Vigor is, Vigor is a multiplayer survival game akin to a battle royal sort of game.

Why is that? well, you are thrown into a map with a bunch of other people, the objective is to gather as many resources as possible but most of the time people will try to kill you instead.



It also has many Battle Royal-like menus.

Aside from that, the resolution is extremely low in handheld mode, this is a closed beta and things are bound to change but the resolution does...​

This review was supposed to come out long ago but I wanted the right person to review the game... anyway, here it is, our review of Deep Sky Derelicts.

The tutorials are not very useful, I learned more from playing the game than I learned from the tutorial.

The game could have a fast forward option or an option to turn off combat animations.

Despite what people may think, it appears there is no need to be alarmed as there is no crypto-mining going on.

The game was only removed because the developers are having a legal dispute against the publisher of the game.

What a strange... puzzle game?

I literally don't know how to review this game.

Is it a game?

Is it an art project?

Is it both? (Games are art too, right?)

Is it none?

What's the story?

Who am I?

Where am I?

What's going on?

What do I do?

I have so many questions.



But the game is too short and doesn't give me any answers.

The game is over before you realize.

I guess it's up to interpretation? You know, like art.



Playing this game is like having a weird dream.

But weird doesn't mean bad.

I didn't dislike it, I quite enjoyed the weirdness of it all.

Apparently everything in the game is made from real plasticine.

What you see in the game are not 3D models, they are photos of real plasticine.

A lot of games were shown on the Mini Nintendo Direct, let's go over some of the games that were shown.

The presentation was around 30 minutes long.



First, let's address the elephant in the room.

-Xenoblade Chronicles got a new trailer

The game will include a new story called "Xenoblade Future Connected".

Future Connected will take place after the events of Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition.

You will be able to play Future Connected at any time (you don't have to beat the game to play Future Connected).




Some music tracks will be re-recorded

-Many 2K games are coming to the Switch

Among them are Bioshock, XCOM and Borderlands.

Due to new federal and local guidelines for COVID19, Nintendo has closed down its repair centers for 3DS family systems and Switch family systems.

As a side-note, Nintendo will no longer be offering repairs for Wii systems and some 3DS family systems.



They will remain closed until the federal and state guidelines allow them to reopen.

If you had shipped your item, the mail service will not deliver it and return it back to you as undelivered.

If your product was in their facility when it shut down, it will remain there until repairs resume again.

If you had a repair order and did not ship your item yet. Your repair order will remain on their systems for 180 days. Once the repair service resumes, you can still use the same repair order within that time.

Zombie Army Trilogy is making its way to the Nintendo Switch.

The game is set to release on March 31st, very soon.

The ACCC is an abbreviation for the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission, these guys are taking Sony Europe to court for what they allege "are false or misleading representations to Australian consumers on its website and in dealings with Australian customers of its PlayStation online store".
